Please remember that certain offices are across the International Dateline. The dates above for the non-USA offices holidays are their dates, not the actual U.S. date.

Clean Truck Fund (CTF)
 

As part of the Clean Air Action Plan of 2005, the ports must achieve zero-emissions drayage trucking by 2035. To incentivize the transition, the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach will begin to collect a Clean Truck Fund (CTF) rate effective April 1, 2022.  All loaded import, export and domestic containers that transit through the terminal gates via truck including rail cargo moving to or off nearby rail ramps are subject to this fee. 
 

The fee collected by the San Pedro Bay Port Complex is set at $10 per TEU. This is equivalent to $10 per 20' size container and $20 per 40'ST/HC and 45' size containers. The cost will be paid by cargo owners or their agents via the PierPass website. Containers will need to be claimed separately under PierPASS and PortCheck.
 

The CTF rate is set to expire on December 31, 2034, according to the port.
