DHX - Dependable Hawaiian Express

7/30/2020

Dear Valued Customer:

Due to Hurricane Douglas and since the reopening of the Hawaii ports, our deliveries for freight coming off of the Kaimana Hila V018W will be impacted as below:

  • Oahu Deliveries – we were originally anticipating a one business day delay but now will be a two business day delay. These deliveries should start today Thursday, July 30.

  • Neighbor Island Deliveries – we are anticipating a three to four business day delay. These deliveries should start next Monday, August 3, except for Kauai, which could take up to next Wednesday, August 5 depending on the final barge schedule.

  • Guam – we are currently not anticipating any delay.

If you did not know - Hurricane season in the Central Pacific (where Hawaii is located) officially runs from June 1 to November 30.

Should you have additional questions, please contact your local representative or Customer Service at our corporate office at 1-800-488-4888 or 1-310-537-2000, Ext. 2020.
