Breaking Alert

Dear Valued Customer: 

As follow up to our Breaking Alert that went out June 19, we have been informed by Matson Navigation Company (“Matson”) that the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation, Harbors Division (“DOTH”) has announced it is postponing its Hawaii Wharfage and Port Security increase until January 1, 2021. This delay to increase port related fees was requested by DOTH and issued by the Governor as a part of the State’s emergency management functions. The delay is meant to support the reopening of Hawaii’s economy. Accordingly, Matson and DHX- Dependable Hawaiian Express will postpone any changes to our pass through of Hawaii Wharfage and Port Security charges until January 1, 2021.
