Dear Valued Customer,

 

Matson Navigation Company (“Matson”) has announced they will be making the following schedule and vessel adjustments effective Monday, June 8, 2020:

 

Big Island

In order to accommodate the transfer of Big Island-bound freight from both weekend ship arrivals in Honolulu to the Big Island with their largest barge, the Mauna Loa will change its Honolulu departure time from 1100 Sundays to 1200 Mondays, with arrival to the Kawaihae port at 0700 Tuesdays.   

 

• This new schedule into the Kawaihae port will bring the schedule in line with the Maui schedule. This change of schedule will delay our containers by one day.

 

Kaua’i

Service to Nawiliwili will remain unchanged with arrivals on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The Friday arrival on the Waialeale will be replaced with service via Young Brothers.

 

Maui

No change, as the Haleakala will continue its current schedule.

 

All Islands

• Cut off times will remain unchanged.
• Matson will continue to use Young Brothers to supplement capacity for oversized cargo, flat racks and overflow containers and autos to all islands as needed.
