Please Note: There are no vessel sailings from Oakland on Wednesday, December 25 and January 1. The connecting vessel from Oakland to Guam and Micronesia will be the Manulani V156 sailing from Honolulu on Tuesday afternoon, December 24 and arriving Guam Tuesday morning, December 31.
All port operations are CLOSED ON WEDNESDAY, December 25 and January 1.

Hazardous Materials Sailings During the Holidays
Please note, due to the holiday schedule, our Southern California terminal’s non-hazardous cargo cutoffs will be Monday, December 23 and Monday, December 30 by 5:00 pm PST. We will not sail any hazardous cargo on Tuesday, December 24 or Tuesday, December 31. The hazardous freight will sail Saturday, December 28 and Saturday, January 4.
Out of Northern California the cutoffs for both non-hazardous and hazardous freight will be Tuesday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 31 by 3:30 pm PST.
Out of Seattle the cutoffs for both non-hazardous and hazardous freight will be Tuesday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 31 by 12 noon PST.
Our Guam deliveries for the week of Christmas and New Year’s will be delayed by one day, due to container availability being on the same day as the holidays. Deliveries will begin to be made on the Fridays of each respective week.
General Rate Increase (GRI)
Matson also recently announced that in order to offset increasing costs of operation and continuing substantial investment in Hawaii service improvements, Matson’s rates for their Hawaii service will increase by $225 per westbound container and $110 per eastbound container, effective with sailings on or after January 5, 2020.
As a result, our Hawaii rates will increase by like amounts for full container loads. For less-than-container load (LCL) cargo, our individual Customer rates will be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including the commodity, density and current costs. These changes will take effect with shipments sailing on or after January 5, 2020.
As you may already be aware, the State of Hawaii increases their wharfage fees in July of each year. Though the amount of the increase is unknown at this time, we anticipate the increase to be around 3% of the current wharfage charges.
At this time no adjustment will be made to the terminal handling charge (THC) for 2020.
Warehousing and Storage
We have storage capabilities in Honolulu, Maui, Kona and Guam. To ensure ease of working with us, we’ve purchased new software that allows our customers to monitor inventory levels, ship an order with same day/next day delivery, or to use our facilities as “back of the store”. This allows you to potentially increase your retail selling space and have your inventory and supplies arrive as you need them.
