Breaking Alert

9/7/2018

Dear Valued Customer:

The National Weather Service has issued a typhoon warning for Guam. The storm is expected to make landfall Tuesday, September 11, 2018, and is forecasted to bring heavy rainfall and strong winds up to 161 MPH. Forecasts predict this could possibly become a Category 3 or Category 4 typhoon.

The Government of Guam, including the port, will be shutting down Tuesday morning September 11, 2018. Our Guam terminal will be open Monday September 10, 2018. An updated forecast of the pending typhoon will determine if offices will be open on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.  The Guam infrastructure and our terminal conditions will determine when we will be able to reopen if weather necessitates us closing.

As the condition of the typhoon becomes more defined, we will update you next Monday as to what we determine will be service issues impacting our Guam ocean, air and delivery services.

We wish all of our friends and families in Guam the very best of outcomes.  Please be safe!

Should you have additional questions please contact your local representative or Customer Service at our corporate office at 1-800-488-4888 or 1-310-537-2000, Ext. 2020.

Thank you for your understanding with respect to the above.  We will take all steps possible to minimize delays.

Thank you for your business-we appreciate it!
