Rate Changes
The following rate change was effective with sailings on or
after February 7, 2016:
Fuel Surcharge Decrease
Due
to the recent moderation in fuel prices, Matson Navigation Co.
("Matson") lowered
its fuel surcharge by two percentage points for its Hawaii,
Guam/CNMI and Micronesia services. The fuel surcharge for Hawaii was reduced
from 18.5% to 16.5%, for Guam/CNMI
from 19% to 17%, and for Micronesia
from 24% to 22%.
As
a result, we adjusted our fuel surcharge downward by like amounts, effective
with sailings on or after February 7, 2016. We will continue to monitor and
adjust the fuel surcharges as Matson adjusts theirs.
