Please remember that certain offices are across the International Dateline. The dates above are their dates, not the actual U.S. date.

 

General Rate Increases

 

As a result of increases to ocean freight rates from our Ocean Carriers, Dependable Global Express, Inc. (DGX) is implementing the following GRI’s to recover these costs as detailed below:

All US Origins	All locations in Asia, Middle East, Indian Sub-Continent, and Fremantle	GRI	$4.00 W/M - $4.00 min	4/11/2020

All US Origins	Peru and Chile, all destinations	GRI	$2.00 W/M - $2.00 min	4/20/2020

Any mitigation and/or delays of the increase will be passed along as applicable.

COVID 19 As It Affects Our Business

 

We would like to offer an update on the fluid Covid-19 situation:

 

·       All DGX Offices are operational and working regular business hours

·       All DGX Staff that are able to perform their duties from home have been telecommuting

·       All CFS/Gateways are open and working regular hours

·       All ports and terminals are open

·       Some areas of the country -those with travel restrictions- are experiencing some ground transport delays

 

EXIM announces aid programs for U.S. exporters

The Export-Import Bank of the United States affirmed its support of the following temporary EXIM programs to provide relief to U.S. businesses their buyers, financial institutions, and American workers negatively impacted by COVID-19:

 

· Bridge Financing Program;

· Pre-Delivery / Pre-Export Financing Program;

· Supply Chain Financing Guarantee Program; and

· Working Capital Guarantee Program
