General Rate Increase (GRI)
Historically, the ocean carriers to Hawaii and Guam announce a GRI near the end of November. We at DHX-Dependable Hawaiian Express try to follow this practice with respect to our Hawaii and Guam delivery operations. Within 1-2 days of the carrier’s announcement we will send you a Breaking Alert with additional GRI information.
The above being said, from a delivery standpoint in Hawaii, we have seen some significant cost increases in our transportation related labor, fuel and insurance expenses. We are reviewing these changes currently and looking at options to minimize the impact they will have with respect to future rates. We plan to have this finalized and announce any changes when we announce the ocean carrier GRI.

New Honolulu Warehouse - We’re building a new warehouse and distribution center in the heart of the industrial district in Honolulu. Visit our page to view the progress of the building project.
Beard for Buck$ - A campaign to help raise money for charity, that will help the homeless in Hawaii. So far with our participating partnership, we have earmarked over $17,000 for charity, with 6 more months until the completion of our new warehouse. You can see monthly updates regarding the current length of the beard.
