Hawaii Wharfage Charge
In a continuing effort to fund a long-term harbor
improvement program, Hawaii's Department of Transportation Harbors Division
increased wharfage charges effective July 1, 2016. Matson Navigation Company also passed on the
increase to the shipping community effective with sailings on or after July 24,
2016.
The increase, which we are passing through to our FCL
Customers effective July 24, 2016, applies by island and equipment size, as is
shown below:

The Less-than-Container load wharfage we charge will
increase by a similar percentage, amounting to 1 cent ($0.01) per cubic foot.
