Dear Valued Customer,
The West Coast MTO Agreement (WCMTOA)
announced an increase in the Traffic Mitigation Fee (TMF) at the Ports of Los
Angeles and Long Beach, scheduled to take effect on August 1, 2015.
The TMF will increase
from $65.50 to $69.17 per TEU (twenty-foot equivalent unit) or $133.00 to
$138.34 per forty-foot container. The increase will sustain continued
operation of PierPass OffPeak gates amid labor costs increases.
As a result, we will increase the TMF by
like amounts effective with sailings on or after August
5, 2015. The LCL will increase from $4.00 to $5.00 per CBM.
